Break out for modular handset cord.
Spade-tipped handset cords are getting hard to find. If you need replacement cords in lengths other than 6' or 15' you may be out of luck. One solution is to use a modular handset and then you can easily get 6',12',25' cords. Or, you may have a modular handset and want to connect it to a network as described in our application notes. If so, you may need this adapter which brings a modular handset (or some brands of DCC throttle) out to a set of 0.100 pads. This board may be handy as a connector in some DCC systems.
We offer the the adapter as a bare board or assembled with a 4 position 0.100 screw terminal adapter or a 4 pin male header and a cable with 4 12" spade lugs. ready to plug into our speech networks.
