This is a modern, refurbished, black, "G" style handset (such as used on 500 and 2500 sets) with a push to talk switch and a socket for a modular cord.  We recommend this style of handset for use on layout phone systems because an operator can pick up the handset and listen without adding background noise into the circuit.  The user pushes the bar inside the handset to engage the transmitter.  User supplies the cords.
