High quality signals typically make up 66%-75% of the cost of a signaling system. John Plocher designed these simple snap-apart PC board signals to sell for less $2.00 each!  These signals let you implement a signaling system for a third the cost of a full system with "model" signals and prove out your design without a large investment. These signals can be installed before scenery and treated as disposable and they also make signal repeaters, as they are “traffic light” style and can be easily ready by your color-weak operators. 

The Simple Signal Siding Sampler consists of two each low signals, high signals and double signals, enough for two CTC "Triads" making up a complete CTC siding.

 Surface mounted Red, Yellow and Green LEDs come installed in a common anode (+) configuration.  No limiting resistors are provided but our cpNode and IOX adapters have pads for resistors.  This arrangement lets you choose the voltage (we recommend 5V, but other voltages will work fine with suitable limiting resistors). We use commodity LEDs for these signals, so colors may not exactly match your prototype or be of uniform brightness.  0.100" Solder pads are provided for your own wiring.
