cpNode Leonardo is a compatible cpNode which uses the full size Arduino Leonardo as a processor. Dennis Drury designed this board to keep code compatibility with the original cpNode 1.5 sketch. This allows it to run either the classic cpNode 1.5 sketch or John Plocher's revised sketch (the new sketch also works for cpNode ProMini and the BB-ProMini replacement). If you've got the cpNodes up to release 2.7 with BB-Leo processors in service and want code compatibility, the cpNode Leonardo is a great solution!
The cpNode Leonardo has:
- RS-485 CMRINet interface, with choice of Molex or 3.5mm connectors
- I2C expansion bus for IOX16/32 expanders
- machined pin sockets for easy insertion of current limiting resistors
