The MP4 Switch Motor is the 3rd generation of MTB switch machines, it has all the features of the wildly successful MP5 including a Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) contact (frog power plus an indicator), adjustable 3mm to 12mm throw, and a plug-in screw-terminal connector.  In addition the MP5 may be used in "2 wire control mode" as a drop-in replacement for a stall motor except that it draws 100mA (when actually moving only).  It also runs in 3 wire mode with a common positive and two operate leads (one for each direction). This uses the same 3.5mm pitch Phoenix connector as the MP10.

For best results the motor should see 12V across its terminals.
